Liveciety Seller Policies

Prohibited Products

Liveciety is dedicated to creating a safe and positive shopping experience. We do not allow sellers to list specific products that are illegal or could be unsafe for your customers. As a seller, it is your responsibility to learn which products are prohibited on Liveciety. By listing only safe, high-quality products, you can avoid prohibited product violations and enforcement actions like product listing removal or even shop closure. You'll also build trust with your customers, making them more likely to return to your shop.

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Anything over the USPS maximum weight limit of 70 lbs
  • Counterfeit Products of any kind, please read our Counterfeit Policy
  • Firearms and Weapons
  • Alcohol, Tobacco, and Vape Products
  • Controlled substances, Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Adult products including but not limited to sex toys, sexual wellness products, pornography, and sexual enhancement products
  • Medications or supplements OF ANY KIND including but not limited to over-the-counter, prescription, CBD products, and eye drops
  • Virtual products or services
  • Human Body Parts, Remains, Mortuary Products, and bodily fluids
  • Hazardous items including but not limited to fireworks, spray paint, lighters, fertilizers, and pesticides
  • Lottery Tickets, Raffle Tickets, etc.
  • Discriminatory and Offensive Products that promote violent or hateful organizations, contain hate speech or that support discrimination or racism
  • Food products of the following nature: Homemade food, perishable food, food products of formula for children or babies under the age of 3, unsealed food products of any kind.

Cosmetics, beauty, hygiene, or wellness products that:

  • contain more than 3 oz of liquid, cream or gel
  • are used or opened
  • are expired
  • promote weight loss or gain
  • Are injectable

Prohibited Behaviors

  • Community Standards: Any and all behaviors that go against our Community Standards.
  • Failure to Accurately Describe Products: Sellers must deliver products as described in their product listings and as shown in their livestreams. Failure to disclose any important flaws, defects, or other significant information about the product being sold can result in return/refund requests or chargebacks. This also includes misrepresentation of item values!
  • Drop Shipping or Pre-Sales: Sellers may ONLY sell products that they actually have on hand and in-stock. Sellers may not drop ship or accept pre-orders.
  • Shill Bidding: Bidding up the price of the item whether it be through an alternate account, a friend, a family member, or an employee for the sole purpose of inflating the price of the item without the intention of purchasing it is strictly prohibited and illegal in some jurisdictions.

Gambling and Gamification

Gambling occurs when users provide money or non-monetary consideration in a game or activity, in exchange for the chance to win a prize (such as allowing users to pay to spin a wheel for the possibility of winning an item of any value).

Gambling-related products, services, and paraphernalia can not be sold on Liveciety. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Roulette and roulette game entry
  • Lottery tickets
  • Raffle tickets

Gamification

Gamification refers to tactics used to add a random element of chance or randomization to users' shopping experience, often to encourage user engagement.

Examples of gamification include, but are not limited to:

  • Lucky spin or wheel
  • Sweepstakes entries
  • Lucky scoop or draw
  • Random card breaks, draft style breaks, rip-til-you-hit breaks, and bounties breaks*

*Note: Personal breaks and "pick your team" breaks are allowed.

Malicious Orders and Traffic Redirection

A malicious order refers to any order of an item or a service on Liveciety that is not made by a legitimate customer. Malicious orders can be placed for a variety of reasons, such as increasing sales performance (for example, faking order counts, shop ratings, product reviews, etc.).

Redirecting Customers from Liveciety

Diverting traffic occurs when sellers or creators attempt to redirect traffic off of Liveciety for any reason, such as seeking payments and transactions offline or using a third-party platform.

To promote customer safety, Liveciety prohibits any attempt to bypass Liveciety's sales process or redirect users to unauthorized websites or sales processes. Prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  • Soliciting any customer's personal information
  • Diverting transactions off of Liveciety
  • Soliciting additional payments of any kind
  • Sending any unauthorized third-party information to customers
  • Offering customers an off-platform return or refund
  • Asking customers to cancel an order
  • Prompting customers to purchase items through external links
  • Sharing promotions that take place off of Liveciety

Customer Service Policy

All sellers must provide professional and timely customer service. Sellers are not allowed to engage in abusive or threatening behavior toward the customer or Liveciety staff.

Customer service includes but is not limited to:

  • Product-related questions
  • Shipping and handling
  • After-sales support
  • Refund Requests

Response Time Requirements

Sellers must respond to customer inquiries within 48 hours of the customer message being sent. This includes after-sales inquiries or complaints on topics such as order cancellation, shipping details, shipping status, returns and refunds, and other requests.

Returns and Refunds

While all sales are final, customers are allowed to request a return if their package was not received, their item was damaged in shipping, the item was defective, the wrong item was sent, or if the item was significantly not as described.

The buyer's initial return request will be directed to the seller. Within 48 hours of receiving a return request the seller must review all supporting evidence submitted by the buyer and either Accept or Deny the buyer's return request. Sellers should submit any relevant supporting evidence when denying a customer's return request.

Giveaway Policy

Giveaways allow sellers to give away items for free to their viewers during a livestream. The shipping costs on giveaways are paid by the seller and taken directly from their Liveciety account balance.

Prohibited Giveaway Behavior

  • No denying a winner for any reason
  • Must disclose prize in advance
  • No downgrading, withholding or changing prize based on who wins
  • No sponsored giveaways without express approval from Liveciety
  • No purchase necessary requirements
  • No future redemption offers

Compliance and Enforcement

Compliance with Liveciety policies is required. It is at the sole discretion of Liveciety to determine when sellers are in violation of this policy and to subsequently take appropriate enforcement actions, including but not limited to, removal of certain features or privileges, temporary suspension, or permanently banning your seller account.

Appeals

If a seller believes that an enforcement action has been made in error, they may file an appeal through support@liveciety.com. Liveciety will investigate the appeal and if it is determined the enforcement was in error, Liveciety will make the necessary corrections. It is the sole responsibility of the party submitting the appeal to collect, prepare, and upload all required supporting documentation for the appeal.

Liveciety
